To coincide with the company's 8th anniversary, PT Meta Media Optima (MMO) officially opened the MMO Innovation Hub in East Surabaya. This research and innovation center is the first outside Jakarta and affirms MMO's commitment to reaching all corners of Indonesia.
Innovation Hub's Flagship Facilities
This 2,000 m² Innovation Hub is equipped with:
- AI Lab: 40 high-powered workstations for machine learning model research and training
- Sandbox Environment: Isolated cloud infrastructure for clients who want to experiment with new solutions without risk
- Co-working Space: 120 seats for the developer community and local tech startups
- Collaboration Rooms: 5 dedicated meeting rooms for client workshops and co-creation sessions
Programs to Be Launched
A number of flagship programs have been designed for the East Java technology community:
- MMO AI Bootcamp: An intensive 3-month program to train 500 local developers in AI technology annually
- Startup Incubation: Technical support and mentoring for early-stage digital startups
- Government Digital Lab: Collaboration with the East Java Provincial Government to prototype future public service solutions
Expected Economic Impact
MMO projects that this Innovation Hub will create more than 200 new technology jobs in Surabaya and surrounding areas within the first 2 years of operation.
